Hi, I'm Ankit Kumar
Senior Full Stack Engineer @Capgemini
I build cloud-native, high-availability systems that stay fast, reliable, and maintainable — even at enterprise scale.

About Me
A bit about who I am and what drives me.
I'm a senior full-stack engineer at Capgemini with 2.5+ years of experience building production systems used by tens of thousands of people daily.
My work spans frontend architecture, microservices, and cloud infrastructure. On the frontend, I specialise in React and Next.js — building interfaces that are fast by design, not by accident. On the backend, I work with Node.js services and AWS, with a strong focus on clean architecture, smart caching strategies, and APIs that are easy to reason about. I’ve led frontend teams, owned technical direction across multi-module platforms, and shipped systems that serve 70,000+ active users and 3,000+ global service points.
I take a quality-first approach to everything I ship — strong validation, automated testing, and careful data handling — because at scale, small mistakes compound fast. I also use AI tooling thoughtfully (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to move faster without cutting corners on reliability.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time at the gym — it keeps me sharp and consistent. I watch a lot of films and well-written shows, and I travel whenever I can, mostly for the perspective it gives. I’m drawn to systems that work quietly and well, whether that’s code, a training routine, or a city that just functions.
I'm not chasing trends. I care about understanding systems deeply, making trade-offs with intention, and leaving things meaningfully better than I found them.
